I'm Devyani Bansal, a Grade 12 student at a school in Delhi. I created MarketMinds with a little bit of machine learning, some knowledge of finance and a whole lot of computer science.

I love to experiment and build things. I'm a curious person who always wants to take on new experiences and learn something new.

Why I built it

I want students to become financially literate before they ever have real money on the line. Most of us are never taught how markets behave, how crashes feel or why diversification matters. MarketMinds lets you learn that by doing it.

• Invest through 26 years of real Indian market history. Start with ₹1,00,000 of virtual money and watch real prices from 2000 to 2026 move your portfolio.
• Survive real crashes. Play timed rounds through the actual market crashes and compete for the best return.
• Relive the biggest falls. Replay each crash and see how different strategies held up.
• Learn by trying. Modules give you a practice portfolio, and the feedback updates as you rebalance it.
• See what forecasting models can and cannot do. Five models are tested across eight market regimes, with the failures shown honestly.
• Climb the leaderboard. Rank your portfolio and round scores against other players.
